In addition to our scheduled workshops, we offer in-house workplace training to organisations for our Learn To Play Therapy – Part 1 and Learn To Play Therapy – Part 2 workshops, and our Learn To Play Approach for Early Educators workshop. These workshops can be provided face-to-face or online via Zoom.Â

Learn To Play Therapy – Part 1 (2-day training)
- Minimum spend to book workplace training during business hours: $8,350 (allows for up to 10 attendees)
- Minimum spend to book workplace training after hours and on weekends: $10,020 (allows for up to 10 attendees).
- After the minimum spend has been reached, a $400 fee will apply per attendee from the 11th attendee onwards ($480 fee for after hours and weekends).
- The Pretend Play Enjoyment Developmental Checklist (PPE-DC) Starter Package is included in the fee for each attendee. Once attendee numbers are finalised, all copies of the PPE-DC starter package will be posted to the engaging organisation for distribution to the attendees.Â
- For face-to-face training, travel and accommodation costs for the Presenter to deliver workplace training will need to be covered by the engaging organisation in addition to the fees listed above. See our section on ‘Additional fees for face-to-face workshops’ below for a breakdown of these costs.Â

Learn To Play Therapy – Part 2 (3-day training)
- Minimum spend to book workplace training during business hours: $11,250 (allows for up to 10 attendees)
- Minimum spend to book workplace training after hours and on weekends: $13,500 (allows for up to 10 attendees)
- After the minimum spend has been reached, a $550 fee will apply per attendee from the 11th attendee onwards ($660 fee for after hours and weekends).
- For face-to-face training, travel and accommodation costs for the Presenter to deliver workplace training will need to be covered by the engaging organisation in addition to the fees listed above. See our section on ‘Additional fees for face-to-face workshops’ below for a breakdown of these costs.Â
- This workplace training is only suitable if all attendees have completed Learn To Play Therapy – Part 1 training, and have had some experience using Learn To Play Therapy in clinical practice.Â

Q&A Follow-up Sessions
These sessions are available for both the Learn To Play Therapy – Part 1 (2-day training) and the Learn To Play Therapy – Part 2 (3-day training).Â
The fee for a 1.5 hour Q&A session is $850 (flat rate).

The Learn To Play Approach for Early Educators
2-day training (with recommended follow-up Q&A sessions)
- Minimum spend to book workplace training: $7,000
- Rates: Monday – Friday (9am – 5pm) = $7,000 (cost of training per day = $3,500 GST inc.);
- Rates: After hours and weekends = $7,800 (cost of training per day = $3,900 GST inc.).
- Additional costs include:Â The Pretend Play Checklist for Teachers (PPC-T) Manual ($49) & Pack of Assessment Scoring Forms ($40), and the book Learning Through Play in the Primary School: The Why and the How for Teachers and School Leaders ($56), by Louise Paatsch, Siobhan Casey, Amity Green, Karen Stagnitti – These resources are referred to throughout the training and we highly recommended that each attendee purchase copies for these resources before the training.

Recommended Q&A Follow-up Sessions
The Learn to Play Approach for Early Educators is structured as 2-day training with 3 follow-up Q&A sessions. These follow-up Q&A sessions are designed to consolidate the information covered in the workshop, allowing for educators who have begun implementing the Learn To Play Approach in their Kindergarten to ask questions. Each session is an additional $700 per session ($2,100 total for all three Q&A sessions).
– First Session: Understanding assessment – exploring the PPC-T further
– Second Session: Supporting self-regulation through play
– Third Session: Building social competence

Additional fees for face-to-face training:
The cost of any travel and accommodation required by the Presenter to provide face-to-face training will be covered by the engaging organisation. Travel and accommodation costs are charged in addition to the attendee fee schedule listed above. Our Presenters are based in Victoria, Australia.Â
Associated travel costs may include:
- Fuel and car expenses: if the Presenter uses their own car, they will claim $1.00 per kilometreÂ
- Flights (booked as fully refundable flights)
- Taxi: airport transfers and travel to the training venue
- Parking
- Accommodation
- Meal money at $77 (GST incl.) charged per day, when an overnight stay is required

INVOICING
Jessica Stagnitti will invoice the engaging organisation for a deposit of $5,000 to secure the workplace training booking. This deposit is to be paid 8 weeks before the commencement of the workshop. Upon completion of the workshop, the engaging organisation will have 14 days to pay the outstanding balance.Â
CANCELLATIONS
ENGAGING ORGANISATION
If the engaging organisation cancels the workplace training, they will be liable to cover any costs incurred by Learn To Play Therapy for the preparation of the training. These costs may include, but are not limited to: non-refundable travel and accommodation costs booked for the Presenter, postal costs incurred from mailing training materials, any other costs incurred by Learn To Play Therapy in relation to the training. These expenses will be deducted from the deposit paid, and the remaining sum will be refunded to the engaging organisation.Â
LEARN TO PLAY THERAPY
If the Presenter is unable to attend the workplace training due to illness, then Learn To Play Therapy will endeavour to find an alternative Learn To Play Therapy Presenter to deliver the training on the agreed dates. In the event that an alternative Presenter is not available, Learn To Play Therapy will cancel, or reschedule the training to another date. In the case of a cancellation, the deposit paid by the engaging organisation will be refunded in full. Learn To Play Therapy will not be liable for any costs incurred by the engaging organisation in the preparation of the training, and any loss of income due to the cancellation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Learn To Play Therapy Director: Jessica Stagnitti is the first point of contact to liaise with the engaging organisation, providing quotes and booking information, liaising with Learn To Play Therapy Presenters for their availability to engage, as well as their travel and accommodation requirements.
Jessica Stagnitti will liaise with the engaging organisation regarding invoicing and payment of travel and accommodation.
Learn To Play Therapy Presenter/s: The Presenter will liaise with the engaging organisation regarding venue requirements. The Presenter will provide the engaging organisation with an outline for the training, and training handouts so the engaging organisation may print/distribute to participants.
Engaging organisation: The engaging organisation will be responsible for the administration of the workplace training. This includes:
- Arranging printing/ distribution of advertising flyer (if required) – Presenter will provide content, engaging organisation to develop into flyer
- Coordinating the venue requirements of the Presenter
- Arrange meal breaks. Providing morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea where appropriate
- Arranging printing/ distribution of training handouts – Presenter will provide training handouts to the engaging organisation so they may print/distribute to attendees.
- Arranging printing/ distribution of training evaluation feedback forms (if required)
- Arranging printing/ distribution of Certificates of Participation (if required) – Please contact Jessica Stagnitti for a certificate template. The Presenter can sign Certificates of Completion on the last day of the workshop, or electronic Certificates can be signed off with the Presenter’s electronic signature.
