Pre-Workshop Activities & Workshop Materials
Welcome to Learn To Play Therapy – Part 2 Training!
In this portal you will find all the information you need for the Part 2 workshop. This includes the pre-workshop Modules to work through at your own pace. There are 2 core Modules, and 3 optional Modules depending on your interest and working area. There are also optional pre-readings and YouTube videos to watch. The 2 core Modules will take approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to work though. The optional Modules, pre-readings and YouTube videos will take an additional ~ 3 hours to work though.
After the Modules and optional content, you will find the handouts for Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3 of the workshop, as well as the Case Studies for the workshop and a play activities sheet. You will also find details on preparation activities for use during the workshop, and the Zoom links for the workshop. The Pretend Play Enjoyment Developmental Checklist (PPE-DC) will be referred to during this workshop. We recommend you have the PPE-DC Manual and Scoring booklets (that were included in the PPE-DC STARTER PACKAGE that you received in Part 1) with you during the workshop.
Once you have completed the 3-day workshop, you will need to complete a compulsory post-workshop quiz in order to receive your certificate of completion. The quiz comprises of 20 multiple choice questions. The pass rate for the quiz is 90%, and you will have 3 attempts at the quiz to achieve this result and get your certificate. Please do not start or attempt the quiz before you have completed the 3-day workshop.
We also invite you to fill out a short feedback survey after the workshop. We appreciate any feedback you provide.
You will have access to this portal and the information it contains for 12 months from the date of enrolment. After this time your access will expire.
