Q&A Sessions
Our 1.5-hour Q&A sessions are open, flexible, and discussion-based — designed to support you wherever you are in your Learn To Play Therapy journey.
Whether you’ve just completed a workshop or have been using Learn To Play Therapy in your practice for years, these sessions are for you!
If you have questions, ideas, or concepts you’d like greater clarity on, join Emeritus Professor Karen Stagnitti for an interactive discussion. You might be:
- Supporting a child who won’t let you enter their play
- Working with a “stuck” player
- Identifying why a child remains at a particular play level and how to scaffold the next step
- Sustaining engagement and expanding a child’s interests
- Exploring repetition with variation and selecting appropriate play materials and toys
- Using play intentionally to support vocabulary and language development
- Navigating conversations with parents or teachers about embedding play into daily life
- Deepening your understanding of how play becomes more complex and tracking the progression from functional play to symbolic and imaginative play
- Seeking therapy approaches for children with less complex play skills
Whatever your burning question, this is your space to explore it.
You’re welcome to bring questions on the day or submit them in advance. Whether the group shares common themes or each attendee brings something unique, you can expect a rich and thoughtful discussion focused on strengthening your Learn To Play Therapy practice.
