Pre-Workshop Activities & Workshop Materials 

Welcome to Learn To Play Therapy – Part 1 Training!

In this portal you will find all the information you need for the Part 1 workshop. This includes the pre-workshop Modules to work through at your own pace, with self-check quizzes along the way. The Module quizzes are voluntary to help check your understanding. There are 6 Modules, which will take approximately 4 hours and 45 minutes to work through.

After the 6 Modules, you will find the Handouts and Case Studies for Day 1 and Day 2 of the workshop, as well as details on preparing play materials for use during the workshop, and the Zoom links.

Once you have completed the 2-day workshop, you will need to complete a compulsory post-workshop quiz in order to receive your certificate of completion. The quiz comprises of 20 multiple choice questions. The pass rate for the quiz is 90%, and you will have 3 attempts at the quiz to achieve this result and get your certificate. Please do not start or attempt the quiz before you have completed the 2-day workshop. 

We also invite you to fill out a short feedback survey after the workshop. We appreciate any feedback you provide.

You will have access to this portal and the information it contains for 12 months from the date of enrolment. After this time your access will expire.

Workshop Times

This Part 1 online workshop is interactive and requires you to be present with your video on for the duration of the workshop.

Thursday 27th – Friday 28th November 2025

9:30am – 4:30pm each day (Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart, Canberra, UTC+11:00) 

Breaks (AEDT)

Morning tea: 11-11:15 (15 mins)

Lunch: 12:30-1:15 (45 mins)

Afternoon tea: 2:45-3 (15 mins)
